Rockville, MD (I-Newswire) April 26, 2011 - Global information and asset management leader LAC Group, in partnership with prime contractor Emergint Technologies Inc., has been awarded EPA’s prestigious Information Management Center Services 3 (IMCS 3) contract. Under this new EPA contract, the integrated team of partners, which LAC Group has joined, will provide a broad array of information and records management technology and library science support services for the EPA across the nation.

These critical services include the various information and document services that will allow EPA to fulfill its important mission. Under this contract vehicle, LAC Group and partners will aid the EPA in providing responses to requests for information; providing reference and environmental information research services; managing library and document collections; providing circulation and inter-library loan services; performing outreach, awareness and training services for EPA customers and the public; managing EPA document and information management systems; documenting EPA procedures; performing records lifecycle activities; and providing a range of document management and conversion functions.
