Knoxville, TN - Fifty women will convene on Sherway Rd this Thursday with a goal to create a business plan from start to finish in less than 30 minutes.

(I-Newswire) June 29, 2010 - Knoxville, TN - Fifty women will convene on Sherway Rd next Thursday with a goal to create a business plan from start to finish in less than 30 minutes. Attendees range in business experience from 'just getting started' to 10+ years as an entrepreneur. The meeting will be led by Atlanta-based entrepreneur and professional educator Rachel Young, founder of the Knoxville Entrepreneurial Women's Group, with a presentation from Knoxville SCORE representative Monique Kennedy.

Beginners and seasoned professionals alike will benefit from Thursday's meeting as new business plans are created and existing business plans are updated to suit ever-changing entrepreneurial goals and focus.

Attendees of the group have been meeting bi-monthly since April, 2010 to discover how to successfully grow their business with topics ranging from Creating a Website from Scratch in Less Than 24 Hours to "The One Thing All Women Love to Have But Hate to Talk About"! The next meeting takes place on Thursday, July 1st at 7:00pm inside the FLAM (Fight Like a Man) studio (155 Sherway Rd, Ste 4) and will have over 50 local businesswomen in attendance.

Rachel hopes to change the way women run businesses. "Most women want to get into the 'sexy' part of running a business. Making friends, making money, creating products and services. Not writing out some 30 page projection on what's going to happen in 10 years" Rachel says. "The Business Plan doesn't appear to be VITAL to running the business RIGHT THIS SECOND and appears overwhelming to create - so it gets put on the back burner and forgotten about until it’s too late and the entrepreneur gets bitten in the behind when they don't have it. This meeting will make the Business Plan an exciting and integral part of female entrepreneurship!"
