Kleinfelder COO To Serve Second Term At Southern California WSPA Associates Chapter

San Diego (I-Newswire) January 19, 2012 - Kleinfelder, a global science, architecture and engineering consulting firm is pleased to announce that Michael Kesler — the firm’s chief operating officer (COO) — has been selected to serve a second term as the chair of the board of directors of the Southern California WSPA Associates Chapter, an important affiliate organization of the Western States Petroleum Association.

Kesler is a 25-year veteran of the petroleum industry and has a demonstrated track record of market development, spending the last 15 years at Kleinfelder in a diverse set of technical, operational and market-development roles. As manager of the company’s energy division, Kesler helped to build strong client relationships in natural gas, electrical transmission and renewable power, as well as expand the company’s presence in the Pacific Rim with a new office in Australia. In November 2010, Kesler was appointed COO, and has since worked to develop additional markets. He has been a member of WSPA Associates since the mid-1990s, serving as chair of the Southern California chapter during 2010 and 2011. Kleinfelder has been a member since 2006.
