Kiran Gems Conducts Interoffice Cricket Tournament as a Part of Their "employee Recreations and Development"
Kiran Gems Mumbai had two days, 21/12 and 22/12, of inter office cricket tournament as a part of their "employee recreations and development" program. There were 12 teams which had employee participation from all levels of Kiran.
Online, December 31, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Kiran Gems Mumbai had two days, 21/12 and 22/12, of inter office cricket tournament as a part of their "employee recreations and development" program. There were 12 teams which had employee participation from all levels of Kiran i.e. right from "office assistant" to "management" grades, classified into 4 groups. There were total of 21 exciting matches played among the various teams which then gave the winner and runners up of the tournament. The final match was played between the teams of Mr. Dinesh Lakhani and Mr Varun Lakhani. Mr. Varun Lakhani, the chief of Kiran Jewels(India) and his team were the winner of the tournament. His team had showed up an exemplary performance across all the departments of bowling, batting and fielding. Mr. Varun Lakhani said, "The most important part is that the players do not actually meet each other every day. They have come together for this tournament and have displayed excellent skills of coordination, planning, strategizing, belief and trust on team mates and implementation to attain the set results."
As per the management of Kiran, the tournament meant a lot more than mere fun for all. These kinds of activities help bringing down the communication barriers across the various levels of organization. Besides it also provide opportunities to meet employees from various different functions of the organization at a common and free platform. At the end of the tournament players of the winning and runners up team were recognised with their respective trophies. Mr. Dinesh Lakhani said that "This is more than winning or loosing.
