Kings XI Punjab Felicitated The Winners Of 'Rocky And Ranjit Ki Khoj Contest'
Sandeep Singh (Ludhiana) & Anuj Bhalla (Chandigarh) chosen as the voice of the KXIP mascots
Punjab (I-Newswire) July 18, 2011 - Chandigarh: Kings XI Punjab today announced and felicitated Sandeep Singh (Ludhiana) & Anuj Bhalla (Chandigarh) as winners of 'Rocky and Ranjit ki Khoj' - a nationwide contest run by KXIP during IPL season 4. Col Arvinder Singh, COO, KXIP announced the two worthy winners who were also handed over the prize money cheques of Rs 25000 each.
The objective of the contest was to give KXIP fans an opportunity to connect with their favorite franchisee by lending their voices to the popular mascots of the team - Rocky and Ranjit.
The contest was organized by KXIP in association with Big FM, its radio partner during IPL season 4 and saw an overwhelming response from Kings XI Punjab fans across the country who recorded their voice samples at a toll free number provided by the franchisee. A panel of select judges comprising of management from Kings XI Punjab and radio Partner, BIG FM, selected the winners of the contest.
Speaking at the occasion, Col. Arvinder Singh, COO, KXIP, said, “My heartiest congratulations and best wishes to the winners of the contest. The two winners shall also lend their voice to the new animation films of the franchise slated to come out soon.
