Kids R Kids of Round Rock Partners With Aqua-Tots Swim Schools For Swim Safety Classes

Round Rock, TX (I-Newswire) March 31, 2011 - Round Rock, TX--Kids R Kids of Round Rock, a proven leader in early childhood education, has teamed up with Aqua-Tots Swim Schools, one of the nation’s foremost authorities on aquatic instruction and drowning prevention. Kids R Kids is helping kick-off this year’s swim season by offering swim lessons as part of their enrichment program at Aqua-Tots’ brand new indoor facility that opens in Round Rock on Monday April 4 at the NW corner of IH35 and Highway 79 (1208-Q IH35, Round Rock, TX 78681).

“We feel very blessed to have come into contact with Aqua-Tots,” says Suzy Poe, owner of Kids R Kids of Round Rock. “Since we opened last year we have continually challenged our management team to come up with new and innovative ways for us to ensure that we are developing the ‘whole child.’ With summer fast approaching there is no better way to do that than to offer swim lessons and water safety training. As a parent I understand that it isn’t always feasible to ensure that your children are able to participate in every extracurricular activity they’d like to, but learning how to swim is an absolute necessity. In an area with summers as hot as Austin, with as many lakes, rivers, and swimming pools as we have, we simply must take the initiative in ensuring that our students are given the opportunity to learn to swim,” continues Poe.

Kids R Kids of Round Rock will be transporting those students whose parents have chosen to participate in the Aqua-Tots program to swimming lessons beginning Monday April 4 at 9:30 a.m. Aqua-Tots’ highly trained instructors use their nationally recognized Aqua-Tots Water Safety curriculum for their low student-teacher ratio swim classes. In the partnership with Kids R Kids, the school’s educators will remain on hand for the duration of each lesson.

Kids R Kids of Round Rock will host an Open House on April 8 at 6 p.m. An Aqua-Tots representative will be on hand to answer questions. Aqua-Tots will be holding their formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and will be having a fundraiser for Colin’s Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to water safety. The public is welcome at both events!
