BROOKLYN, NY, - Kent Ale House, a new, affordable craft beer pub from the team behind Brickyard Gastropub, today announced that it has opened in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Kent Ale House brings 24 taps of craft beers to the corner of Kent Ave and North 11th street, with a strong emphasis on beers from New York, such as Sixpoint, Chelsea Brewing, Ommegang, Blue Point, and Coney Island. A daily Happy Hour from 5 to 8 pm features pints of The Craft Beer of the Day for $5 or Narragansett Ale for just $4.

In addition, a pub-style menu of sandwiches, salads, upscale hot dogs, and Build Your Own Burger will be offered. The last-named offers an array of toppings, sauces, and cheeses atop your choice of a grass-fed, antibiotic and steroid-free beef burger, a house-made veggie patty, or a bison burger.

Kent Ale House boasts a 50-seat sidewalk cafe with views of the Manhattan skyline, as well as 60 seats at dining tables inside. Its back room, with a separate entrance, is available for parties or as a performance space. Come winter, take a seat by the wood-burning fireplace.

The main bar dates back to the pre-Prohibition era and was crafted by German cabinet-makers from Cuban mahogany. The comfortable, understated space features a blackboard listing current beers on tap, white subway tiles, exposed brick, and bar stools with sturdy backs. Hanging exposed light bulbs give the entire space a pleasant glow.

Kent Ale House features several large TVs screens throughout, and plans to show European football and Rugby games this fall.
