Kempner & Partners Named Top IP Law Firm

West Yorkshire (I-Newswire) November 8, 2011 - Kempner & Partners, Yorkshire’s leading intellectual property law firm, is celebrating after winning a clutch of awards and being named as the region’s top intellectual property law firm in the prestigious Chambers & Partners annual guide to UK law firms.

Less than 12 months ago, the firm was named the UK’s IP Private Practice of the Year by Intellectual Property Magazine, the leading industry publication, which aims to recognise the excellence of professional advisers in IP, dealing with the exploitation of trade marks, patents, copyrights, designs and brand management.

Kempner & Partners was launched in Leeds less than three years ago by partners Richard Kempner, Stuart Jackson and Jason Dainty, but had to beat some of the biggest names in IP law including Bird & Bird, Baker & McKenzie and Kenyon & Kenyon to take the main prize.

Only last month, Kempner & Partners was named Niche Law Firm of the Year in the Yorkshire Lawyer Awards where the judges praised the firm for its expertise, the quality of its work and its ability to serve national and multi-national household name clients from its Yorkshire offices.
