The universal clamp is a compact tripod mount that can be used with any smartphone or tablet ranging in width from 7mm to 13mm in thickness. The stand component consists of four jointed 'arms' that can be configured in an endless number of positions for stable video or photo shooting. Made from the same engineering plastic as the Clamp, the jointed stand can grasp onto unusual objects at odd angles because of the rubber grips on each end. The stand can be made smaller by removing links, or can double as a stationary holder for any smart device.
The two-part Quadrapod and Clamp is only 0.3 pounds (120 grams) and can support any smart device weighing up to one pound. The engineering plastic is both lightweight and durable - so much so that it can withstand being run over by a car.
