KBE Building Corporation Building Nelton Court Housing Project in Hartford

Progress is well underway on the 80-unit Nelton Court housing development now being constructed by KBE Building Corporation (KBE), the design-builder and constructor for the project.

Hartford, CT (I-Newswire) February 8, 2013 - Progress is well underway on the 80-unit Nelton Court housing development now being constructed by KBE Building Corporation (KBE) (www.kbebuilding.com), the design-builder and constructor for the project. The project’s developer is Simon Konover Development Corporation. The project was designed by John C. Clark & Associates, Architects.

The $21 million dollar project, which was federally funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Hartford Housing Authority, will consist of new construction that will provide 80 wood-framed and modular multi-family residences. Each residence will have units that range in size from one to four bedrooms. The construction will also consist of a 4,000 square-foot community center.

The project also included asbestos abatement and the demolition of the previous housing development on the site, which was constructed in the 1940s.

The project is slated for completion in July 2013.
