MySpace is one of the sites that have started social networking technology. Moreover, it is one of the first that have used advanced platforms, thanks to the individuals behind it.

What does this have to do with Kaz Moghim?

Knowing Kaz Moghim

The MySpace platform is just one of the products Kaz Moghim worked on. Aside from being the software architect for the social networking site from June 2007 to January 2009, he is also known for his contribution to InTheMo and Supersociety.

Moreover, Moghim has recently focused on creating mobile apps to make online marketing more accessible to businesses through iProgr.am.

What iProgr.am Stands For

iProgr.am is a company that is the result of the merging of two giant IT companies, LogiQuests and InfluxApps. LogiQuests is the Los Angeles based Software Company where Moghim was president, while the latter company focuses on social media mobile apps and has been acquired by LogiQuests.

Moghim is the brain behind the creation of iProgr.am and he believes that the merging of two technological companies can produce more enterprise developments. Now, he acts as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the company.

"LogiQuests has been focusing on building high-end enterprise applications for Fortune 500 companies for the past several years, and now we will be in the position of utilizing our in house expertise to provide the same high quality enterprise development to the mobile marketplace. The ultimate goal of iProgr.am is to define enterprise development for the mobile corporate world. It's an area that has been awfully neglected." Moghim stated regarding the mission of iProgr.am.

The Projects

With iProgr.am being aggressive in bringing mobile app development into the highest level, the company already showcases some of the products that they have started developing.

• MarketingPAD is an enterprise solution which makes shopping, particularly retail, easier because it is a one-stop shop online. Through it, business owners can connect to their partners and consumers.

• Private Phone Detective is a modern phone directory which gives the reversed result. It allows phone owners to recognize and locate unknown callers. What makes this more effective than usual reverse phone lookup is that this allows searcher to have a full background check on the number looked up.

• Uridea is a micro blogging server that has the same function as that of Twitter, but what makes this different is that it caters open communication among micro blogging communities. Also, people and businesses can install their data and services here.

These are just some of the projects developed from iProgr.am and will be available soon to everyone. The company, as well as its founder, Moghim, assures us that more innovations are yet to come.
