Karen Blunden Joins as CEO of Infomedia North American Subsidiary and Director of Global Business Development

Infomedia announced today that Karen Blunden will become Director of Global Business Development and CEO for their North American subsidiary, IFM North America.

Infomedia Executive Chairman , Richard Graham, announced today that automotive technology executive Karen Blunden will be joining the Company's North American Subsidiary as CEO and Director of Global Business Development and Sales effective 21 November.

Ms. Blunden brings extensive leadership experience to the role having held executive positions in engineering, marketing, automotive retail, aftersales and strategy. Ms. Blunden has a reputation for business growth and building strong client relationships. Over her tenure, her teams have developed, launched and supported global technology solutions for the automotive community including service diagnostic systems, parts catalogues, dealer management systems, and telematics solutions.
Mr Graham said, "I first met Karen in 2002 when Infomedia purchased the Parts Imager EPC from EDS and she was Division President of EDS's Automotive Retail Group. I admired the professionalism yet openness that I observed between her and the people reporting to her."

Infomedia Business Development Account Executive, Stephen Fogarty, worked for Ms. Blunden at EDS and said, "Karen has something unique in bosses. She is both a good leader and a good manager. Usually you get one or the other, but not both."
Karen grew up in Michigan. She has a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Ms. Blunden's appointment as CEO will replace the position of IFM North America President made vacant with the departure of Gary Martin in September. In addition, she will assume the role of Director of Global Business Development, formerly held by Mr Warren Webermin, who notified the Company of his intention to resign and is due to complete his service this month.
