The 2012 Ford Mustang comes with several standard features including complex reflector halogen headlamps, a tilt steering wheel with speed controls, premium AM/FM stereo with single-CD player, and cloth front bucket seats. Options include HID headlamps, a Deck spoiler, a glass roof, Dual Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DZEATC), Voice-Activated Navigation System, Shaker™ audio systems, SYNC®, and RECARO® sport seats.

The 2012 Ford Mustang also comes with several standard high-tech safety features including AdvanceTrac® with Electronic Stability Control (ESC), programmable MyKey system , S.O.S. Post Crash Alert System, Personal Safety System® and SecuriLock® passive anti-theft system (PATS). Optional features include a rearview camera, a reverse sensing system and a wheel-locking kit.
