Journyx Inks Deal with KOOP; Community Radio Station Joins Thousands of Other Timesheet Customers

Journyx today announces that KOOP is using Journyx Timesheet software for tracking the hours of more than 100 volunteer DJs.

AUSTIN, TEXAS (April 7, 2010) - Journyx today announces that KOOP - a community radio station owned and operated by its members in Austin, Texas - is using Journyx Timesheet software for tracking the hours of more than 100 volunteer DJs. KOOP will use Timesheet to track volunteer time spent on station projects and expects to shave at least 30 days off their monthly reporting.

Journyx Timesheet is a timesheet and expense management solution that enables organizations to automate management of employee time and expenses for project control, customer invoicing, and payroll processing.

KOOP Radio - previously using spreadsheets for time tracking - found the process to be very tedious and take about month to complete, resulting in the station always being about 1-2 months behind in reporting totals.

"We are pleased with the results of Journyx Timesheet so far. Volunteer hours are simple to report and approve with Journyx Timesheet," said Kim McCarson, Executive Director, KOOP. "We are confident that we will save a significant amount of time in our reporting process by using the software. And as a nonprofit organization, every minute counts."

Journyx Timesheet is valuable to nonprofits, and small and large businesses, alike. An expertly-developed and finely-tuned time management system that tracks project management, billing, and professional payroll can become a window into the real-time costs of any organization. This is especially true if it provides a thorough understanding of costs at every level of the organization and complete visibility into these costs for everyone who impacts them.

"To increase profitability, companies must be smarter about how they collect and use critical time data to evaluate project cost and performance, allocate labor and other resources, and estimate future project schedules and costs," said Curt Finch, CEO, Journyx. "KOOP should begin seeing measureable results with Timesheet quickly, and the ROI will be even greater to them once they begin using it for grant projects, too."
