Pittsburgh, PA (I-Newswire) June 21, 2012 - School is out and the weather is warming up, which means Peters Township Community Day is quickly approaching. South Hills Chrysler Jeep Kia is very excited to be a part of this year’s festivities which include food, entertainment, raffles, games and of course, complimentary hugs courtesy of the Kia Hamster.

The 34th Annual Community Day will be taking place June 30th from 11am – 5pm at Peterswood Park located on Meredith Drive in Peters Township, Washington County. In addition to the local vendors such as South Hills CJK, who will be on hand to provide information and special offers, there will be plenty of entertainment including Paul’s A Train, an airbrush tattoo artist, an appearance by “Kai-Ian,” a strolling bag piper, a caricature artist and musical acts throughout the day.

South Hills CJK and staff will also be providing a ‘party rocking’ good time at their booth. Several vehicles, including the stylish Kia Optima and the versatile Jeep Grand Cherokee, will be available to view. Plus the Kia Hamster will be handing out oil change packages, in addition to those free hugs, which include car washes and safety inspections.

In addition, the Community Day Committee will be selling raffle tickets throughout the day and picking winners every five minutes. Participants can stop by Shelter 1 to purchase their tickets. The entire day’s festivities will close at 9:30 pm with a special Fireworks presentation.
