John Phillips' Sports and Courts Radio Show Moves to WOKV 690 AM

Jacksonville, FL (I-Newswire) January 10, 2012 - The popular radio show "Sports and Courts" hosted by John Phillips has made a few changes. As of January 1, 2012, it is moving to its new home on WOKV 690 AM and 106.5 FM in Jacksonville, Florida, and nationwide on wokv.com.

WOKV has one of the strongest signals in the east coast and can be heard from Cape Hatteras, North Carolina to Melbourne, Florida. John is also flipping the title to "Courts & Sports," as the show is leaving a former all sports station. The show airs from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (EST) every Sunday.

The show has moved from its previous station 1010XL, an ESPN radio affiliate, and now finds itself at home on WOKV 690 AM. A move Phillips is pleased with.

"Courts & Sports" combines Phillip's love for sports with his profession as a lawyer to create a dynamic show that covers everything legal and sports.

Some of the topics he's covered on the show is the horrific story of Ishika Lay, the Olympic Gold Medal Boxing hopeful who suffered a traumatic head injury as a result of being prematurely cleared to fight.
