John Langdoc of Baron & Budd, P.C. Praises the Creation of National Mesothelioma Awareness Day

Dallas, TX 75219 (I-Newswire) March 24, 2011 - DALLAS--Just last night, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a new resolution that will designate September 26 as National Mesothelioma Awareness Day. This new designation will commence in September 2011. The bill, which was in the works for more than a year, was introduced by Representative Betty McCollum of Minnesota. John Langdoc, an attorney at the national law firm of Baron & Budd, P.C., praised the creation of a designated day for mesothelioma awareness.

“Even today, many people think of asbestos as something from the past, but people continue to be diagnosed with asbestos cancers, such as mesothelioma. Surprisingly, there is still a substantial industry push to keep using asbestos for various industrial applications.”
