Joe Stallings, Partner and Director of Communications at Balentine, has been elected to the board of the Frazer Center. Established in 1949, The Frazer Center is a not-for-profit organization that provides family and community based services to children and adults with physical and developmental disabilities.

"As a parent of two children on the autism spectrum, I believe that it is important to support the very limited number of programs like the Frazer Center, that provide key services for both children and adults with special challenges," said Stallings. "The Frazer Center's adult services program offers meaningful education, work experience and recreational programs in which adults with special needs can thrive. I am proud to be working with an organization that meets such a range of often unmet needs here in the Atlanta community, and indeed, across the nation."

As Director of Communications for Balentine, an investment management firm, Stallings leads the firm's external communications, public relations efforts, brand equity and intellectual properties. A 1992 graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Joe began his career with Balentine & Company in 1994, rising to Vice President of Marketing in 1999. Stallings joined Balentine from Electronic Arts, the world's second-largest software entertainment company, where he worked as a producer. Working in both Orlando, Florida and Vancouver, British Columbia, Stallings helped create the ecommerce, social media, digital distribution and direct-to-consumer technologies used in some of Electronic Arts' best-selling products, including The Sims and Tiger Woods PGA® TOUR. He is frequently featured as an expert on new media and business architecture.

The Frazer Center serves children and adults with special needs throughout the Metro Atlanta area. In addition to their programs geared at adults, they also offer an inclusive pre-school program in which children with a variety of levels of ability and disability learn and flourish together in a nurturing environment designed to encourage independence. The Center is situated on a 39 acre campus and includes the Cator Woolford Gardens, a unique oasis in the heart of Atlanta. The Gardens are an integral part of the Atlanta community and provide financial support for Frazer Center programs.
