Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work for Twitter or what the job might pay? You now may be able to find out the answer. JobHintz.com published new Twitter job openings and the corresponding salary data.

Palo Alto, CA (I-Newswire) August 25, 2011 - Today JobHintz, a job search site that also provides reviews and advice from people on the inside, released a list of new Twitter job openings and the corresponding salary data. To view the jobs and salary ranges, users need to visit JobHintz (http://www.jobhintz.com) and search for Twitter. Recently Twitter has announced that it received significant funding led by Russian venture capital firm Digital Sky Technologies (DST), and is rapidly expanding its operations throughout the country. Asked about the areas where Twitter is hiring and the pay levels, Carla Olson, the general manager of JobHintz responds: “Most of Twitter’s new requisitions are in software engineering, reliability and product management. A typical job, experienced Software Engineer, pays between $100,000 and $125,000 per year. This is quite comparable to industry standards.” At Twitter, employees have generous benefits, which include gym membership reimbursement, weekly in-office yoga and pilates classes and catered breakfast and lunch daily. The vacation policy is flexible and generous, and new moms and dads can count on paid maternity and paternity leaves.

The other areas where Twitter is hiring extensively are reliability engineering and product management. According to JobHintz, reliability engineers can expect to get paid up to $135,000 in total compensation, excluding stock options, whereas product managers can expect to make up to $160,000. Operations engineers at Twitter are also well compensated. Depending on the skills and qualifications, they can expect to make up to $110,000 in total compensation. “Those salary ranges are quite typical in the heated technology market in Silicon Valley,” says Carla Olson. “But candidates should be aware that the competition for Twitter jobs is quite steep, since they hire only the best and the brightest. Also, make sure you show your passion for Twitter and be familiar with the product features—that’s just as important.”

To find out compensation data for Twitter jobs, users should search for keyword Twitter on JobHintz, and salary ranges will be automatically displayed along with the search result. In addition to searching by keywords and location, JobHintz users can search by minimum salary requirement. The salary feature is enabled by Jobhintz’ proprietary database that contains compensation information for more than 100,000 jobs as well as additional user-submitted insights. JobHintz offers Base Salary Hintz™ and Total Pay Hintz™ for select jobs. Base Salary Hintz™ is an estimated base pay range, computed using the database or provided by insiders, whereas Total Pay Hintz™ is an indication of the total compensation. In contrast to Base Salary Hintz™, Total Pay Hintz™ typically includes signing and guaranteed discretionary bonuses, including stock options and grants. “Salary information is the most sought after information by job applicants,” says Carla Olson. “Base Salary and Total Pay Hintz™ are our best effort pay estimates, and candidates use them to gauge their interest in potential job opportunities.”
