Company Continues Its Commitment to Canadian Curling And Winter Sport

(I-Newswire) August 23, 2010 - (WINNIPEG, Manitoba) August 23, 2010 – As part of their ongoing commitment to supporting Canadian sport, JELD-WEN has signed on to sponsor the Jeff Stoughton curling team until 2012. The window and door company currently supports Team Jennifer Jones and was a longtime partner to Team Kerry Burtnyk until his retirement in 2010.

Jeff Stoughton has been curling for 31 years and has won seven provincial championships, two brier championships and World and Players championships. 2010 has already been a great year for Stoughton, winning his eighth Manitoba provincial championship this spring.

The team is made up of Jeff Stoughton (skip), Steve Gould (lead), Reid Carruthers (second) and John Mead (third). Team Stoughton kicks off their 2010/11 season at the Monsanto Sliding in Summer bonspiel, August 23 through 29, 2010 in Warren, Manitoba.
