Elan Carson has been writing since age 6 with the help of her grandmother.Elan's writing ability is so powerful that she was disqualified from an elementary contest because the judges did not believe that someone so young could writes such a story. The Willow Tree is a dramatic novel that depicts Elan Carson's life growing up with a loved one diagnosed with PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). Elan's novel explains how she viewed herself as a child and now a woman in today's society. Elan will discuss her journey and experiences with PTSD and how she endured on the Dark Mantis Talk show.
