At a recent kickoff party held at Lamborghini Sarasota, organizers of the Sarasota Exotic Car Fest announced next year's event is scheduled for February 22-24, 2013, and will feature a James Bond "Casino Royale" theme. Each year car enthusiasts from across the nation travel to Sarasota, Florida, to be a part of the upscale event that showcases Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Rolls-Royces, Bentleys, Maseratis, Aston Martins, Bugattis, and rare luxury cars.

"The weekend of exclusive events includes a number of local venues, including the Rectrix Aerodrome at the Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport, Michael's On East, and The Founders Golf Club," said Marilee Roberts, who has co-chaired the event with her husband, Gary Roberts, for the last 11 years. "Through the years we have developed a strong following of participants who consider this to be one of the area's most supported car shows. It continues to attract more and more visitors to our area and generates increased revenue for many local businesses and our community. Everyone is excited about our new Bond theme, and guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite Bond character for the Jet Port Reception on Friday evening."

This year the organizers have teamed up to offer their support to United Cerebral Palsy of Southwest Florida, Inc., and all proceeds will be donated to the non-profit organization.

"We are so pleased to partner with the Sarasota Exotic Car Fest. The proceeds from this event will be used to help fund the many programs we provide for area residents," said Lea Mei, Development Director for United Cerebral Palsy of Southwest Florida, Inc.

The weekend of events begins on Friday, February 22, with a Jetport Reception at the Rectrix Aerodrome Center at the Sarasota/Bradenton International Airport, which will include classic imported luxury and exotic cars, sophisticated jets, custom-built motorcycles, a fashion show by local boutiques, tantalizing gourmet fare by Michael's On East, and a silent auction.

On Saturday, February 23, the St. Armands Circle Concours will be open to the public and will showcase some of the world's most exclusive exotic and luxury cars. The 2012 event featured over 100 cars and drew thousands of visitors. That night, Michael's On East will set the stage for an electrifying "Casino Royale" themed evening that will include casino games, dinner, entertainment, and dancing.

Sunday morning, February 24, begins with a Road Rally of exotic cars and ends with brunch at The Founders Golf Club. Participation in the Road Rally is not required in order to attend the brunch.
