Jaipuria Experience Life Changing For Student Vaibhav Jain

His first year at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow has been a life-changing experience for Vaibhav Jain.

Pune (I-Newswire) September 5, 2012 - His first year at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Lucknow has been a life-changing experience for Vaibhav Jain.

A graduate in physics, chemistry and math from DBS (PG) College, Dehradun, physics was his first area of interest. But after deciding to go for his MBA, he came to Jaipuria Lucknow, and this is when he developed an interest in finance. This new interest in finance helped him bag an internship with HSBC Bank in Delhi. As Vaibhav says, “It has made me more serious towards work; made me more focused.”

As an Internee at HSBC Bank, he assisted his seniors in conducting financial analyses for clients, work that served to clarify his understanding of the financial world.

The internship showed him that life of a corporate person is not very easy. He explains this further on by stating, “Life here is never easy and is accompanied by a lot of ups and downs. You have to meet deadlines in order to perform well and have to be serious about your work.” Here they ensured that they met deadlines and also expected other to meet them. Jain has high praise for the support he has received at Jaipuria Lucknow, both from faculty and from his peers.

“The faculty has supported me a lot,” he said. “They helped me at every step where I had a problem and improved my learning. Peer support has been exceptionally good, especially from my friend Mudit Kakkar, who has helped me wherever I got stuck.”

All in all, it’s been a great year for Jain.

“I was able to get a position in the top five students of the batch,” he said. “I have excelled in academics and hope to continue in future.”

While he has concentrated more on studies than extra-curricular activities, he was selected as co-ordinator of the finance club and has found life on Jaipuria Lucknow campus very fulfilling.

He’s found a lot of time to spend with friends and speaks with pride of the excellent library facilities, the spacious campus and the number of events organised for students to show their talent.

“We have so much to do on campus, which has resulted in some memorable events that I will remember throughout my life.”

His Jaipuria experience has fine-tuned his ambitions.

“It has given a shape to my goals and aspirations and made me more clear about my future,” said Jain.
