IVD and Medical Device Industry Veteran Randy Vader Launches IVD Consultants

Madison, Wisconsin (I-Newswire) June 28, 2011 - Randy Vader today announced the launch of IVD Consultants, a new consulting and contract firm. IVD Consultants will provide a wide range of Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs and Quality Assurance consulting and contract services to early-stage and established In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) and Medical Device companies.

Mr. Vader is an industry veteran with over 25 years of Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Affairs and Quality Assurance experience in the IVD and Medical Device industries. Prior to founding IVD Consultants, he held executive leadership roles at Predictive Biosciences, Orthofix, EraGen Biosciences, Philips Medical Systems, Focus Diagnostics/Quest and VIA Medical.

In 2010 as the Vice President of Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs for EraGen Biosciences, Mr. Vader worked closely with the U.S. FDA to receive FDA Clearance for the first molecular diagnostic test ever cleared in the United States for Herpes Simplex Virus 1&2. This was also the first U.S. FDA cleared product for EraGen Biosciences, allowing them to break into the clinical diagnostic market for the very first time.
