Island Trader Vacations Donates $1,000 In Support Of The USO

Island Trader Vacations once again shows its support to members of the community by donating $1,000 to the USO.

Offering continuing support to the community, Island Trader Vacations has made a generous donation to the USO. A non-profit organization dedicated to American troops and their families, the USO was founded in February of 1941. Since its inception, the USO has been working in partnership with the DOD or Department of Defense to provide live entertainment and services to troops away from home. Relying heavily on contributions from corporate and private donors, the USO now operates over 160 locations in 14 countries worldwide.

The mission of the USO is a simple one, to lift the spirits of our troops and their families. Although not a part of the U.S. Government, the USO is recognized by the DOD as well as Congress and the President, who serves as its Honorary Chairman. In wartime or in peace, the USO continues to support and encourage the brave American troops who have devoted their lives to protecting and serving and will continue to do so until everyone comes home.

Island Trader Vacations is dedicated to its members as well as members of the its and other communities. Offering annual contributions and donations is just one of the ways that Island Trader Vacations shows its support to deserving organizations including not only the USO but others as well such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Midshipmen's Morale Fund at the United States Merchant Marine Academy and the Shriners Hospital for Children.

Island Trader Vacations offers valuable members only benefits on travel on cruises, condos and more.
