Island Trader Vacations Donates $1000 to the Salvation Army

Online, July 31, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Island Trader Vacations has been offering its support to charities and organizations for many years. This year in continuing support for the community, Island Trader Vacations has donated $1000 to the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army is an international charitable organization with over 1.5 million members worldwide and was founded in 1865 in London by one time minister of the Methodist faith, William Booth. First known as the North London Christian Mission, the Salvation Army, as it later became, expanded its service to Australia, Ireland and the United States by 1880.
