Island Trader Vacations Donates $1,000 to the Shriners Hospital for Children

In an effort to give back to the community, Island Trader Vacations recently donated $1000 to the Shriners Hospital for Children, just one of a number of charities and organizations who have benefited from Island Trader Vacations desire to help.

In an effort to give back to the community, Island Trader Vacations recently donated $1000 to the Shriners Hospital for Children, just one of a number of charities and organizations who have benefited from Island Trader Vacations desire to help. Other organizations who have also benefited from the generosity of Island Trader Vacations in the past include St. Jude Children's Research as well as the USO, a nonprofit organization that provides programs, services and entertainment to United States troops and their families.

An organization dedicated to children, the Shriners Hospital for Children offers care to children with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, as well as burns and other special health care needs in a family centered environment. Their mission is to help those who need it but may lack the financial means to get the care they need. The Shriners Hospital for Children is a non profit organization. In addition to providing high quality care to children, the Shriners Hospital for Children also conducts research in order to discover new knowledge to improve the care of patients and the lives of those children impacted by health care needs.
