Motion Marketplace has listened to the needs of their customers, and now offers a high precision planetary gearbox, which enables them to meet the ever changing needs of the motion control industry. Typically you would think high precision high price, they have managed to keep the cost down to customers without sacrificing the high quality of the gearbox.
Motion Marketplace has partnered up with SunUs who has over 40 years of manufacturing experience in gearboxes. They have ingenious engineers in the design department who in addition to custom-engineered solutions, are in constant pursuit of improvements on current gearbox lines, as well as future lines to reach all facets of the motion control industry.
High precision gearboxes come in the following two types: AG and PG series which both cater to specific applications that employ high precision. AG utilizes ball bearings ob the output side, allowing for a longer flange than the PG series. PG utilizes double tapper roller bearings, allowing it to bear larger axial loads. The core and planetary gears of the PG are carburizing, heat-treated, and ground, extending usability and smoothing the teeth surface. AG gears are cut and nitrogen treated. The PG offers a much higher rigidity than the AG and both series of gearboxes come in gear ratios from 3 to 100, and backlashes less than 3 arcmin.
These gearboxes have a long service life are set up for easy maintenance. The manufacturer has chosen to use synthetic oil that lubricates and protects the segments inside the gearbox, oil free. The AG and PG series are both set up for easy installation. The input bushing and the changeable connecting plate, mount with any brand of servo motor.
Lead-times are impeccable from readily available stock to non stock lead-times, anywhere from 3-6 weeks no matter the quantity amount ordered. Custom applications are welcomed and lead-times do not differ on custom applications from their standard high precision gearboxes.
