New York City (I-Newswire) June 14, 2012 - “I’m having a quarter-life crisis!” It’s a phrase that’s all too familiar to women in their mid-twenties to early thirties. But those who’ve turned to the Web for direction have likely found a very slim selection of resources.

With this in mind, three NYC-based women -- currently navigating jobs, relationships and all the questions that come along with the late twenties – got together and launched Quarterlette.com. A brand-new community resource, Quarterlette.com is geared towards helping women navigate through the highs and the lows of their quarter-life escapades.

The website is designed to be visually simple, clean and easy to read, and will feature new content weekly, with the majority of the stories written by Quarterlettes themselves who have powerful narratives to share, thoughtful advice to give, and businesses, projects, blogs or causes to passionately promote. Through Quarterlette.com, writers will have a platform to tell their own unique stories and readers will have a place to connect with like-minded women, finding a little support, guidance and inspiration to help them survive, and thrive, during this stage.

“We’re exposed to endless stories from our friends about the difficulties that come along with this life stage. There’s an expectation to have an exciting job, a decent income, a cozy home and a fulfilling relationship, and sometimes women feel lost if they don’t have all those things,” said Emily Long, Co-Founder, Quarterlette.com. “Our goal for Quarterlette.com is to build a space that features honest and relatable content for women in our shoes, helping to make the navigation process a bit easier and more enjoyable for our readers as they travel the road towards achieving their dreams.”

“While this time can be difficult and confusing, it can also be incredibly rewarding and life-changing. Some may call it the “quarter-life crisis”, but we prefer to think of it as an exciting time full of changes, transitions and decisions as we strive to weave together who they think we should be and who we want to be with the reality of who we are.” said Rachel Greenspan, Co-Founder, Quarterlette.com.

Built from the ground up by women in the throes of their quarter-lives, the site utilizes real-time experiences of young females and professionals to help steer through this dynamic phase. Curated by like-minded women, the site lends credibility and realistic perspective to connect with, engage and advise peers.
