Award winning and best selling author and conflict coach Lisa Gibson has experienced more terrorism than the average person. This expert believes that people-to-people diplomacy could be the most effective approach to combating future acts of terror.On December 21, 1988 she lost her brother on the 1988 terrorist bombing of Pan Am 103. On September 11th she was in Washington DC when the Pentagon was hit and the city was shutdown. On May 1, 2010 she was attending the theater on the same street where a terrorist attempted to explode a car bomb. These attacks have shaped her life and set her on a mission to prevent terrorism.
