Integrated Marketing Company Now Has Former County Government Employee as CEO

Tavares, FL (I-Newswire) July 28, 2011 - Cary Pierce was in charge of business development with the Lake County, FL Division of Economic Development and Tourism before he decided to tackle the position of CEO with a new integrated marketing company named Empirical Integrated Marketing.

Mr. Pierce had performed many roles in his position with the county. Some of those included creating, implementing, and managing new marketing strategies for the department ,along with creating, implementing and co-managing marketing strategies for many of the new programs implemented by a new board of county commissioners. As a significant part of his role with the county, Mr. Pierce also helped several business throughout Lake County with their own marketing plans and strategies.

"I really enjoyed helping businesses succeed" said Cary, "but being an employee of the county, there were limitations to how much I could help these businesses. Providing some instructions, advice, and general how-to information was good, but several companies wanted me to provide more services. To do that, I would no longer be able to work for the county as it could cause possible conflicts of interest and I found that working back in the private sector again would give me the possibility to truly help these businesses."

Since leaving the lake county Florida department of economic development, Cary has become the CEO of a new startup company. This company is Empirical Integrated Marketing.
