Inspiring New Video On Living To 100

Living to 100 is a remarkable accomplishment. A new video shares some surprising insights from one centenarian's life on how she reached this milestone and is still dancing well into her next century!

Living to 100 is quite an accomplishment. But the formula for a long life isn't as clear as many people think. A new video introducing the lively personality of Mary Ell, a 103-year-old Canadian woman, offers insights and inspiration for living to 100 - as well as simply living well at any age.

"Many people have the wrong impression that long livers owe their longevity to advances in medicine," says integrative doctor Michael E. Rosenbaum, MD. "But in fact that's not the case at all. Most centenarians like Mary Ell have rarely seen a doctor or the inside of a hospital. The ingredients to a long life have little to do with modern medicine. But instead have to do with lifestyle choices."

The first ingredient is activity. "I try to stay active all the time," Mrs. Ell reveals with a twinkle in her eyes and an impish smile. Mrs. Ell moves like a teenager, bowls like a pro and still loves to dance. Her grandson jokes it's hard to keep up with her.

She also takes great pleasure in spending time with the people she cares about. As her neighbors and family testify, she radiates love and thrives on the human connections in her life.

Finally, Mrs. Ell attributes her vitality to a healthy dose of carefully chosen herbs and vitamins. One of her favorites is the green algae chlorella. "Before I always had something wrong - I had aches, I had pains. My head ached all the time. I had dizzy spells. Now I turned the page. I feel good. I have no problems." And with her characteristic liveliness, she adds, laughing, "Maybe I'll live another 103 years!"

Mrs. Ell isn't the only centenarian who uses Sun Chlorella regularly. World-renowned chlorella researcher, Dr. Leon DeSeblo was known to eat only chlorella for months at a time. In his 90's Dr. DeSeblo was more active than most 30-year-olds. And Dr. DeSeblo lived to be 107 years old!

"Chlorella provides significant nutritional support at any age - but particularly when you're older," explains Dr. Rosenbaum. "Chlorella helps your body clean out toxins, keeps your immune system running strong, supports comfortable digestion and speeds up tissue repair. With all these benefits, you can understand why so many active seniors consider chlorella their secret for living zestfully well into their golden years."
