Indie Publishing Shadow on the Wall

Author Pavarti is hosting a Kickstarter project to raise funds to Indie publish the novel Shadow on the Wall; the epic tale of a complicated man from mogul brat to … superhero. Recai Osman: Muslim, philosopher, and billionaire

Washington, DC (I-Newswire) May 12, 2011 - Rape. Murder. Extortion. All in a day’s work for the nefarious RTK, the brutal, self-appointed morality police controlling modern Elih, Turkey. In these dark times who can stand against their iron-fisted rule?

Enter Recai Osman: Muslim, philosopher, and billionaire.

Forced to bear witness to the murder of his parents, Osman must overcome the demons of his tortured past and utilize every resource his billion-dollar empire offers to hit back at the RTK.

Shadow on the Wall is Book One of The Sand Storm Chronicles, which tells the epic transformation of a complicated man from mogul brat to … superhero.

Recai Osman appeared to me in a dream. He had skin like mine, a red beard and piercing eyes. Intelligent, broken-hearted and faithful he vowed to change the world.

I took him up on his challenge.

I believe in Recai's story and I believe that there is a market for it. "Moth Smoke", "City of Veils", and "A Sky So Close" are all examples of contemporary books from this part of the world that have been successful, add on the superhero mythos and Shadow on The Wall is going to be something amazing.

I have been working hard writing and editing Shadow and plan to self-publish. I have a short story (Consumed By Love) I self published, but without funds to market or distribute sales are minimal. I have been researching Indie Publishing extensively and have a good handle on how to take my book to the next level.

The funds from Kickstarter will be used to professionally edit the manuscript and publish it with the full power it deserves.
