(I-Newswire) November 6, 2009 - MBody Strength, an Orange County based unconventional fitness company, is going to host an Indian Clubs Workshop on November 21, 2009. Indian Clubs were derived from ancient training tools traditionally used by martial artists and Kushti wrestlers in India to train for strength. During this 3-hour workshop, participants will learn how to use joint mobility and Indian Club training to dramatically improve health, avoid injury, and enhance their strength training dramatically.

“Indian Clubs are one of the most effective ways to mobilize multiple joints at once and prime your nervous system for serious training,” stated Marcus Martinez, MBody Strength’s founder and member. “Jason Dolby is an excellent instructor and can help anyone learn how to incorporate Indian Clubs to take shoulder health and mobility to the next level.”

Jason Dolby, IKFF International Instructor, is a specialist in Indian Club training and joint mobility, with certifications from IKFF, AKC, RKC, Z-Health Movement Therapist (Level 3), NASM (CPT), MBG (CNT), and ART (Lower Extremity).

With Indian Clubs, think pre-hab instead of rehab. Learning how to use Indian Clubs regularly will help you save money on medical and physical therapy bills. The natural arching motions build non-linear strength and the dynamic traction created by the moving Indian Clubs will help create freedom in stubborn connective tissue.

Indian Clubs can also help you enhance your strength training. Indian and Persian warriors have used Indian Clubs for thousands of years for one reason: they work. Indian Clubs will save time in your warm up and allow more time for your kettlebell or strength training programs.

During the 3-hour Indian Clubs Workshop, participants will learn sixteen of the top Indian Club exercises, including the Folding Arc, Rolling Wrist, Chest Opener, Falling Arc, Falling Circles, Spinning Blades, Rotating Guard, Windshield Wipers, One Arm Figure 8's, Double Figure 8’s and more.

“Anyone looking to avoid injury and enhance their strength training should look into our Indian Clubs Workshop with Jason Dolby,” said Marcus Martinez. “We’re looking forward this event.”
