Independence University Adds New Master’s Healthcare Programs to Its Current Educational Lineup

Salt Lake City, Utah (I-Newswire) June 14, 2011 - In response to the growing demand for qualified healthcare professionals, Independence University has added two new master’s degrees in healthcare to its existing academic offerings: a Master of Science in Health Services—Health Promotion and a Master in Public Health.

The past decade has seen a surge of medical and pharmaceutical advancements, and a subsequent hike in average life expectancy. As a result of this, Americans are living longer lives than before, and the population of senior citizens is growing rapidly. Since this age bracket tends to require more medical attention and care than most, there is and will continue to be a huge demand for qualified healthcare professionals.
