IMT Nagpur Invites Participants For Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship

IMT Nagpur is conducting an advanced Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship from 27th January to 5th February 2012.

Nagpur (I-Newswire) January 19, 2012 - IMT Nagpur is conducting an advanced Faculty Development Programme in Entrepreneurship from 27th January to 5th February 2012. The program sessions would be conducted from 9:30 am to 5 pm on the given dates. The venue chosen for the same is the IMT Nagpur Campus.

The Program, directed by the Associate Professor at IMT Nagpur, Prof. Rajkumar Phatate, is aimed at familiarizing the participants with the procedure of developing high technology and high growth entrepreneurs. It would also acquaint the faculty members with new and effective methods of teaching entrepreneurship. The programme is expected to enhance the way this subject is being taught in India.

The programme has specially been designed for the faculty members of Science and Technology institutions. IMT Nagpur also invites the subject specialists, visiting faculties and all those involved in helping the students become entrepreneurs. Since the program is focused on discussing the process of developing high tech and high growth enterprises it may prove to be beneficial for the trainers working with ED institutions. Various faculty members from across the country are looking forward to attending this edifying programme on Entrepreneurship.

The 10 day long Faculty Development Programme would cover various topics. Entrepreneurship Development process and Entrepreneurial competencies, Business plan preparation, Business Idea Generation & Evaluation, Financing Technology start-ups, High tech Entrepreneurial eco-system in India, Business incubation process to create Technopreneurship, Creating enabling mechanism for new venture creation, to name a few. There would also be a special training on web based 'New Venture Strategy' simulation game.

The fee for this Faculty Development Programme would be Rs.12, 500/- for the residential participants and Rs.9, 500/- for those opting for non-residential arrangement. This can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY, payable at Nagpur.

IMT Nagpur is looking forward to the presence of various entrepreneurship trainers, consultants, support system officials and entrepreneurs at this 10 day long event.
