IIST, Indore Announces Rs 1 Crore Scholarship Fund For Students, Making It One Of The Biggest Amongst Institutes In The State

Online, June 5, 2014 (Newswire.com) - IIST, Indore has announced a 1 crore scholarship fund for meritorious students in both academics and sports. The scholarship fund is one of the largest amongst those offered by institutes in the state of Madhya Pradesh and is in keeping in with the institute's mission of encouraging rising talents in the country. The recent move by the reputed institute in the state can go a long way in adding to the talent pool it already has and nourishes on its campus.

Similarly those with participation in class XII and have made it to the Open State team will get a 50% waiver in their Hostel and Tuition fees.

There are several other scholarships for students in their first year who are making their way to IIST. However there's also a lot in store for students already at the institute. Scholarships for those in their 2nd, 3rd and 4th years involve up to 100% waiver on tuition fee if a student participated in the National team. That can amount up to a cool Rs. 60,000 waiver on tuition fees, which is solid incentive for students.

IIST has also offered scholarships for students who have strong academic achievements to boast of. These scholarships are offered at different stages, right from admissions to the aptitude tests. During their B.E admissions, students with over 90% in their PCM will get a 60% tuition fee waiver, which amounts to Rs. 36,000. There are scholarships for those who perform well in the Aptitude tests during counselling.

There are special scholarships for students from Navodaya schools as well. IIST, Indore has announced these scholarships for students enrolling with its Engineering and Pharmacy programs.
