I.CON: The Industrial Conference 2014 Slated for Jersey City

Important Annual Event will attract Industry Leaders from across North America

As industrial real estate continues to lead CRE's rebound, both in New Jersey and nationally, industry leaders from across North America will meet to discuss up-to-date trends and information at I.CON: The Industrial Conference 2014. This important annual event is slated for Thursday, June 5, and Friday, June 6, at the Hyatt Regency Jersey City.

Presented by NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, and SIOR, and hosted by NAIOP New Jersey, this key event's program will focus on such topics as what's driving industrial real estate, investment tactics, emerging markets in North America, the evolution of warehousing and distribution, what drives development cycles, the impact of NAFTA on industrial real estate, the impact of supply chain logistics, and answers and solutions to current investor challenges.

Welcoming remarks and an industry overview will be offered by Thomas J. Bisacquino, President and CEO of NAIOP. Attendees will also be welcomed by past SIOR President Terry E. Smith, Executive Vice President of Colliers International-Nashville; and Mayor Steven M. Fulop of Jersey City.

The two-day event will also feature simultaneous tours beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 5. Tour Option 1 will be a boat tour of the Port of New York and New Jersey, and Tour Option 2 will be an industrial projects tour of the award-winning Goya Foods in Jersey City and Macy's Parade Studio in Moonachie.
