Hometown Health Network Nearly Doubles in Last Year

With the addition of these two health and medical providers, the award winning video program is nearly at capacity for medical categories.

Locally produced Hometown Health offers news and insight from Lake County and The Villages area medical experts participating in this specialty-exclusive network of professionals. When Hometown Health was launched in March 2009, company president Marc Robertz-Schwartz preset the maximum number of specialties at 25 in order to keep the program to an hour in order to maintain its commitment to quality while providing in-depth and helpful information to viewers.

Additionally, Hometown Health has a media partnership with Heartbeat Radio for Women, WRHB 1410 AM and also airs Saturdays, at 11 a.m. and Sundays at noon on LakeFront TV (Comcast Ch. 22, Florida Cable Ch. 4, and Bright House Ch. 199) as well as reception areas at the Lake county Health Department offices and the Florida Hospital Waterman Community Primary Health Clinic.
