HEADstrong Foundation Named Charity Of Choice For The Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic and Big City Classic

Holmes, PA (I-Newswire) February 9, 2011 - HEADstrong Foundation, a Holmes, PA based charitable organization dedicated to finding a cure for blood cancers has announced it has been named charity of choice by Inside Lacrosse for the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic and Big City Classic.

At each event, a brief video will be shown sharing the story of HEADstrong Foundation founder Nicholas Colleluori and thanking the lacrosse community for its continuous support. Nicholas, a 2004 graduate of Delaware County’s Ridley High School and Division I lacrosse player at Hofstra University struggled with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a vicious type of blood cancer, for over a year before he passed from the disease in November 2006 at the age of 21.

A HEADstrong tent will be in the vendor area where HEADstrong apparel will be available, including the all new R27tm line.

Event information:
An annual tradition to start the season, the fifth annual edition of the Konica Minolta Face-Off Classic will be held at M&T Bank Stadium on March 12, 2011. The third annual Konica Minolta Big City Classic will be held Sunday, April 3 at the nation’s newest NFL venue, New Meadowlands Stadium.
