It consists of 12 acupressure points that are stimulated over a 24-hour period, using a completely non-invasive technique. Once sleep rhythms are optimized then the 12 points can be used in 15 different combinations to address common pediatric health complaints such as teething pain, constipation, cough and ear infections. The program developed by acupuncturist Jennifer Taveras, utilizes the wisdom of Chinese medicine and is easy to implement and put into practice.

Jennifer Taveras is both a mother and an acupuncturist, two beloved roles which intertwined in her development of the Holistic Baby Sleep System. Practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2000 in New York City, she originally began using this system for jet lag prevention. However after having her son in 2007 and witnessing the struggles families have with infant sleep issues, she branched out to see if the method could also help with children's circadian rhythms.
