HiTech Recommends Finite Element Analysis for Crusher Device
HiTech FEA, one of the leading FEA companies in India recommends Finite Element Analysis for crusher device
50 Riverside Drive, New York, (I-Newswire) March 6, 2013 - HiTech FEA, one of the leading FEA companies in India recommends Finite Element Analysis for crusher device. In the feeding opening and screening point of crusher in various types of mines, the application of fixed crusher is widely used. Its working device is the main component to withstand the working load; its structural strength directly affects the reliability and performance of the crusher. HiTech machine experts use finite element method to research about the main working device of fixed crushing machine, and get structure, strain, displacement, safety factor on any stress and rivet force.
Fixed crusher device mainly includes rotary motor, the rotating mechanism, boom, stick, rod, rocker, hydraulic hammer, boom cylinder, arm cylinder and turn the hammer fuel tanks and other components. HiTech Machinery experts activated embedded SolidWorks09 software plug in Simulation, and created static studies. They got the results that in different operating conditions, the device is under different load and finite element analysis results are also different.
"Based on the working device finite element analysis, we can draw conclusion that the maximum stress points in the working device should be less than material allowable stress i.e., 215 MPa, meeting the strength criteria, maximum displacement occurs in the hammer tip position about 21.741 mm." quoted Mr. Nilesh Shah, Director - IT & Engineering. He further added that "Since the crusher has unstable vibration at work, when the role of the frequency of the excitation frequency and external forces hydraulic system is close to a working device frequency, it will cause resonance of the system, increasing the working device vibration. Integrated finite element analysis results can guide the work device components to improve design, increase the stiffness, and strength of the weak parts of the working device, so that the distribution of stress and strain becomes more reasonable."
