The High Performance Hockey League (HPHL) is kicking-off its inaugural 2011-12 season with a series of Showcases with an impressive line-up of Showcase Partner teams who will take part in various events throughout the Midwest on October 7 - 9, 2011.

HPHL Showcases for the weekend of October 7 - 9:

Midget Major - Detroit, MI (City Sports Arena)
Guest Teams: Boston Jr. Bruins, Michigan Elite, Dallas Ice Jets, MDHL, Lansing
Capitals and Indiana Junior Ice.

Midget Minor - Ann Arbor, MI (Ann Arbor Ice Cube)
Guest Teams: Shattuck St. Mary’s and Dallas Ice Jets

Bantam Major - Ann Arbor, MI (U of M - Yost Arena and Ann Arbor Ice Cube)
Guest Teams: Shattuck St. May’s and Mid Fairfield.

Bantam Minor - Plymouth, MI (Compuware Arena)
HPHL teams only

Pee Wee Major - West Dundee, IL (Leaf Center)
HPHL teams only

Pee Wee Minor - Woodbridge, IL (Seven Bridges)

HPHL Commissioner Dean Krispin made the announcement, saying: “We are delighted to be able to partner with such high-quality programs in our inaugural season. We know these teams will provide an excellent level of competition and we are excited to have them on board.”



To learn more The HPHL was created to bring together organizations of like mindedness, notably a philosophical commitment to USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) and its Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) recommendations which includes age‐specific development of young athletes. The clubs are connected by history, purpose, and proximity, and bound by a mutual interest in creating a highly competitive training and developmental environment. The league is comprised of the Chicago Mission Hockey Club, Chicago Young Americans Hockey Club, Detroit Compuware Hockey Club, Detroit Honeybaked Hockey Club, Detroit Little Caesars Hockey Club, and Team Illinois Hockey Club.
