Speaking at a Press Conference in Accra yesterday, the Chairman of the HCG, Mr. B. S. Ajaikumar, stated that the intent of this single place is to help patients achieve longer, better lives and improve cancer care at one centre at a time.

According to him, their main aim is to collaborate with the Government of Ghana in establishment of cancer care giving centre in the country.

Mr. Ajaikumar noted that their mission is to create a fulfilling environment where doctors and staff advance the future of cancer care through cutting edge patient care, clinical research and technology as well as enabling patients to achieve longer and better lives.

“We are committed to creating an environment that fosters the professional and personal achievements of each person who crosses the threshold of a centre,” the Chairman of the HCG indicated.

He emphasised that patients are the beneficiaries of these achievements and every accomplishment brings them one step closer to their ultimate goal of longer, better lives for cancer patients and their families.
