Hawkeye Manufacturing, Inc. joins Pacific Sands in Global Marketing of EcoOneTM Spa Products.

(I-Newswire) June 1, 2009 - Richmond, Va – Hawkeye Manufacturing, Inc. has announced an alliance with Pacific Sands to distribute the EcoOneTM Spa Treatment System alongside its current line of portable spas. EcoOneTM is an environmentally safe, nontoxic water treatment system with superior benefits to standard chlorine or bromine.

Effective immediately, every Hawkeye Spa and Barefoot spa leaving the company's Richmond, Va facility will include an EcoOneTM Starter Kit, which comprises a suite of cleansing and maintenance chemicals. In addition, Hawkeye has instituted a nationwide campaign to market the EcoOneTM system to their database of existing customers and retailers.

The agreement marks the first instance in the company's 20-year history that it has endorsed a major chemical brand. According to Casey Murray, Hawkeye's VP of Sales, initial testing of the EcoOneTM system far exceeded the expectations of their development staff.

"We've tested the EcoOneTM product in side-by-side studies, as well as in numerous employees' personal spas, and the positive results have been nothing short of amazing," Murray said.
