Haunted House Near Washington DC Opens Doors!

Washington-area haunted house in it's 12th year at Prince George's Stadium.

Washington DC area thrill-seekers are in for a treat as the "Nightmares Haunted House" is open for the 2013 season, it was announced today.

The popular haunted attraction is put on by Tulip Gulch Productions and hosted by the Bowie Baysox at Prince George's Stadium, located just 20 minutes away from many Washington area residents.

Baysox marketing director Brandan Kaiser had this to say:

"We hope Washington residents are ready to jump out of their skin because this year's haunted house is going to be better than ever!"

The haunted house event is in it's 27th season, with 2013 being the 12th year the event is being held at the Baysox Stadium.

"Most of the people who attend the event come from PG County," Kaiser added, "and word is starting to catch on in the DC area, since it's such an easy drive right out Route 50."

This is a a family indoor event and shows take place rain or shine. The line to get into the event is on the stadium concourse which is located outdoors and under cover from the rain. Fans of the event should dress appropriately in case of cold weather. Gates open at 6:30pm and tours run starting at dusk and ending at 11pm.
