Harris School Solutions Wins San Bernardino ROP Contract

Niagara Falls, NY (I-Newswire) September 30, 2011 - Harris School Solutions, national provider of K-12 and adult education software, has been awarded the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Regional Occupational Program (ROP) contract. Harris will implement the AIM solution, replacing the county's current student information system.

The San Bernardino County ROP serves 30,000 students in 16 school districts annually. In addition to cost effectiveness, data reliability and reporting were important factors in the county's selection of a new student relationship management (SRM) system.

The AIM-SRM will be delivered as a hosted SaaS solution, and features a centralized Oracle database. It provides county-wide or district-wide access to student and course information, as well as business intelligence (BI) and analytics.

"In this difficult budget environment, AIM's BI and reporting capabilities will help the ROP efficiently provide essential educational services, as well as maintain the detailed records necessary to ensure its fair share of funding. AIM will help San Bernardino do more with less--the goal of virtually all educational organizations today," said Canada.

The Harris AIM-SRM is currently servicing over 60% of the regional occupational centers and programs average daily attendance in the state of California, and it hosts over one million unique ROCP and adult education student records annually.
