Harris School Solutions Announces the Release of AptaFund 4

Niagara Falls, NY (I-Newswire) April 21, 2011 - Harris School Solutions is pleased to announce the upcoming release of AptaFund 4, the web-based fund accounting solution for K-12 schools. AptaFund 4 will feature a new graphical user interface (GUI) and will be released in phases, beginning with the human resources module.

The AptaFund 4 solution is a centrally hosted, fully integrated, online fund accounting and business management solution for school districts with an enrollment under 15,000 students. In addition to the recent enhancements in state reporting, AptaFund 4 is GAAP, GASB 34, and USFR compliant, and provides multi-level security safeguards for financial information. AptaFund 4 also offers over 120 customizable reports and a highly secure internet data center, with transaction tracing capabilities through AptaTrace.

The AptaFund 4 suite includes, but is not limited to, the following modules: financial, general ledger, state reporting, budget development, human resources, Employee Services Portal (ESP), purchasing, accounts payable, capital assets (non-profit compliant), and bank management. The modules are fully-integrated, aiding personnel in the timely completion of back-office and fund accounting procedures.
