The Wells Fargo's Housing Foundation has recognized Habitat of Humanity of South Palm Beach County (HFHSPBC) with The Leading the Way Home program Priority Markets Initiative grant in the amount of $95.000. This grant supports neighborhood projects

The Leading the Way Home(R) program Priority Markets Initiative grants are administered through the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation.The Housing Foundation has invested more than $284 million, since 1993 to support affordable housing and community revitalization programs. Housing Foundation programs have also delivered 4.7 million volunteer hours to build or rehabilitate more than 5,000 homes during the past 20 years.

"We are deeply honored to be chosen for the Leading the Way Home program Priority Markets Initiative Grant" said Habitat Executive Director, Michael Campbell. "This award will allow us to continue our mission to build stronger, safer neighborhoods".

The Wells Fargo's Housing Foundation is the lead sponsor of Habitat's Ocean Breeze West project. This 21new home community, located in the Heart of Boynton Beach, came to fruition through collaboration with the City of Boynton Beach, the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the Boynton Beach Faith Based Community Development Corporation (CDC). To honor their commitment in the affordable homeownership field, Habitat will dedicate the 21st and last home, which will be completed this summer, in the name of the Wells Fargo Housing Foundation.
