Guttate Psoriasis "Curable Without Modern Medicine" Suggests John James

Local man claims to have cure for psoriasis - without medication.

NY (I-Newswire) December 4, 2010 - "Guttate psoriasis" is a skin rash that is difficult to treat, and is thought that is cannot be cured by modern medicine, let alone with alternative treatments.

"That's not true!" states John James, owner of the now controversial site http://treatingpsoriasis.net

Generally, guttate psoriasis can be treated by the application of a topical steriod cream, alongside a prescribed course of antibiotics in order to treat the infection that may have caused the outbreak of guttate psoriasis lesions (usually from streptococcal infection).

Apart from this, plus applying moisture retaining emollients, little can be done to treat the condition, which can last for many years.

According to John, "guttate proriasis can be treated at home. For the symptoms, keeping the skin moist will stop the discomfort caused by dry and brittle skin. But, to stop the condition for good, you should target the origin of the problem as apposed to the symptoms, otherwise the psoriasis and soreness will come back.

A technique you could use for nearly instant relief is to run a bath mixed with epsom salts. When you've finished in the bath, smooth the guttate lesions with olive oil."

John also mentions:

"The best way to bring an end to the psoriasis is natural sunlight! Ultravoilet light in the suns rays can reduce the lesions as quick as a flash -- and as for prevention, it's all down to boosting the immune system..."

If Johns advice is effective, this we do not know. However, those willing to try could potentially save money and time.
